About the Tour

Where America's Story Comes to Life

The Black Hills of South Dakota are one of America’s great treasures — a place where towering granite spires rise above whispering pine forests, where bison still roam free, and where the stories of the Wild West are woven into every canyon and creek bed.

From the soaring faces of Mount Rushmore to the thundering drama of the Buffalo Round Up, from the saloons of legendary Deadwood to a fireside Chuckwagon dinner under the stars — every detail of this journey has been curated to give you the very best of the American West.

Your Big Adventure Tour Manager handles everything — transport, admissions, select meals, and all the logistics in between — so you can simply show up and soak it all in.

Mount Rushmore

Stand before the iconic faces of four presidents — more magnificent in person than any photograph can capture.

A real cowboy feast and live Western music under the South Dakota stars at the legendary Fort Hays.

Buffalo Round Up

Deadwood & Spearfish Canyon

Walk the storied streets of Deadwood, visit Wild Bill Hickok’s grave, then wind through breathtaking Spearfish Canyon.

Crazy Horse Memorial

The world’s largest mountain carving — a monumental tribute to the Lakota warrior that dwarfs even Mount Rushmore.

Reptile Gardens

One of the world’s most unique wildlife attractions — a fun, fascinating stop that surprises every visitor.

Historic 1880 Train

Ride a vintage narrow-gauge railway through the pine-scented Black Hills to the charming town of Hill City.

Cowboy Breakfast

All-you-can-eat at the Fort Hays “Dances with Wolves” film set — the perfect fuel before the Round Up begins.
